The Thousand and One Nights - Zermatt's Hidden Treasure
The Treasure Hunt — Episode 1: The Hiding Place
It all began long before the treasure hunt itself.
Before the clues. Before the maps studied late into the night. Before the first theories exchanged between passionate treasure seekers.
The treasure had already begun its journey.

It travelled along mountain paths, through silent forests, past curious squirrels and birds that unknowingly witnessed a journey whose purpose remained a mystery even to them.
There were lakes too. Perfect reflections. And above them all, breathtaking views of the Matterhorn, almost unreal in the early morning light.
Then came the moment to choose the hiding place.
A discreet location. Protected. Motionless in the middle of vast nature.
A rock. A shelter. And beneath it… the treasure.
But we shall say no more.
And so the hunt began.
Little by little, the clues were revealed. Enough to intrigue. Never enough to uncover the mystery completely.
The hunters set off.
For hours, they studied every detail. Compared distances. Revisited maps. Interpreted symbols. Some even walked the same trails several times, convinced they had missed something.

Then came the long hikes.
Dozens of kilometers walked around Zermatt.
Stones lifted one after another.
Hidden valleys explored.
Mountain slopes crossed with patience and determination.
What courage. What perseverance.

And yet… nothing.
Of course, they tried to learn more. Additional clues were given — just enough to revive hope. But so far, everyone has returned empty-handed.
So one question remains.
Who will be the one to find it?
