Every spring in the Fribourg Prealps, herds climb to the high pastures in a slow, single-file procession. Cows wear crowns of flowers and heavy brass bells. Farmers sing. This is the poya — a centuries-old ritual that Swiss painters immortalized on chalet walls, and woodcarvers pressed into oak.
Now, our artisans cut it into surgical steel — so you can carry that alpine memory quietly, on your finger, wherever life takes you. From New York to Aspen, from a Zermatt honeymoon to a Sunday commute.
Compose my ring →Switzerland has spent 500 years perfecting one obsession — mechanical precision. It's why the world sets its watches by Bienne. Why the most trusted movements come from La Chaux-de-Fonds. And why our rings — cut to the tenth of a millimeter, assembled by hand, tested one by one — come from the same tradition, the same country, the same discipline.
Every base, every motif is machined on our own lathes in Orbe. No overseas subcontracting, no anonymous supply chain.
Polished by hand, one piece at a time. The same 20-year craftsmen do the finishing today they did in 2004.
Every closing mechanism is clicked and un-clicked before it leaves the workshop. If it doesn't feel Swiss, it doesn't ship.
Mood was born in the Vallée de Joux — the mountain-locked valley in the canton of Vaud that has been the world capital of Swiss watchmaking for three centuries. Nestled between lakes and pine forests, this narrow valley is where the world's most demanding watchmakers learned to shape metal at the tenth of a millimeter. Same water. Same air. Same 300-year obsession with precision.
In 2004, our founders took that watchmakers' discipline and applied it to a completely different object : the ring. The idea sounded almost naïve for a jewelry brand — don't sell a ring, sell a system. A base you keep, motifs you collect, colors you swap. One patented click, endless combinations.
As the brand grew, the workshop moved a short drive down the valley to Orbe, still in the canton of Vaud — where design, precision cutting, hand engraving, assembly and quality control all happen under one roof. Six boutiques across Switzerland. Swiss artisans polishing motifs the way their neighbors polish watch cases. No middlemen. No offshore. No shortcuts.
Our values are simple and old-fashioned : precision (inherited from the watchmakers next door), patience (a ring passes through several artisan hands before it leaves), heritage (every motif tells a Swiss story) and transmission (a base you'll pass on).
A solid base. A motif drawn from Swiss patrimony. A color you can change with your mood. Every piece is designed, adjusted and assembled in our Swiss workshop — no exception.
The same medical-grade stainless steel used in surgical implants. Hypoallergenic, nickel-safe, tarnish-free. Wear it in the shower, at the beach, at the gym. It won't discolor. It won't oxidize. It'll outlive the trends.
Chalets, fir trees, cattle in single file, the alphorn — every symbol cut to the tenth of a millimeter in our workshop. Watchmaker precision, applied to a mountain memory instead of a movement.
An anodized aluminum ring that clicks into the base — Swiss red, rose pink, alpine navy, sunset coral, onyx black, midnight violet, glacier turquoise. Swap it in five seconds — for the outfit, for the season, for the day you're having.
One ring, many lives. Here are the four small gestures that let you transform it — no tools, no jeweler visit, no fuss.
The steel base opens in two halves, like a discreet hinge. No tools. No risk of damaging anything.
The anodized ring drops into place. Seven shades to choose from — pick the one that matches your mood today.
The Poya motif slots onto the base. Rotate it any way you like — cows heading east, or west, or hidden behind your finger.
The mechanism locks with one clean motion. As solid closed as it is simple to open. That's the mood click.
Hold the ring up to the light. You'll see the alpine chalet, the herdsman climbing with his cattle, the file of cows and goats, the mountain chain in the background, the alphorn player. The whole of Alpine folklore, resting in the palm of your hand — Swiss precision, patrimony intact.
Swiss red, rose pink, alpine navy, sunset coral, onyx black, midnight violet, glacier turquoise. One ring, one mood — collect several and change them like you'd change a strap on your favorite watch.

The Poya engraving is stunning, incredibly precise — chalets, mountains, the whole Swiss folklore. I wear it every day, at work, on weekends. It's the piece I get complimented on the most.
The bronze Poya looks beautiful on the black base (the sportier version) and equally elegant on the bronze base (the jewelry version). Two rings in one — that's real value.
A gorgeous piece, finely engraved with an emblem of Switzerland. Beautiful to wear every day. My husband borrows it more than I do. Thank you, Mood.
