In the mood for ride…with passion!

Cedric Chevalley, inventive designer of the mood ring, a contemporary piece of jewelry with multiple facets due its ingenious concept of interchangeability, has dedicated a special edition to the young and talented professional kite boarder Jeremie Eloy.

The ring « mood » is not only a contemporary piece of jewelry but above all a symbol of the lifestyle of the person who carries it. The ring consists of a steel structure on which a ring, the so called addon is set. This particular architecture and a singular technical prowess give the owner of the ring great liberty and ease in changing its look by simply altering the addon. The interchangeability of the components allow its owner thus to totally personalize its mood by an almost infinite choice of astonishing materials and by adding his own identity. Every mood ring becomes thus unique.

Cedric Chevalley had his newest « mood » collection signed by Jeremie Eloy. Both practicing very successfully their respective passions, a synergy became soon evident: Jeremie's passion for the sea, travelling, exploring new ground and pushing things to their limit has inspired Cedric Chevalley, himself addicted to this sport, to dedicate his newest series of addons to the young wave rider in order to sponsor him.

Following his passion, Jeremie leads the kind of life that many would be jealous of: he has neither a house, nor a car and, apart from waiting in airports, he spends most of his time riding the waves of some of the most fantastic spots on earth. What a lucky guy!

Together with his brother who owns a design agency Feel Addicted, Jeremie has developed this very special sequence of symbols that express his personality and his passion. The addon in European walnut wood is engraved with a kite surfing big waves that represent the Teahupoo, the famous wave of Tahiti that Jeremie Eloy, Julien Sudrat and Yannick Salmon were the first kite surfers ever to ride. In the center of the engraved design is a Polynesian tiki is drawn in order to protect the surfer. Those signs are very significant for Jeremie as they are representative for Polynesia which is actually one of Jeremie's favorite spots.

Jeremie, who has not had the habit of wearing rings before now enjoys his "mood" very much! On the one hand its design has a lot of signification: quite like a lucky charm, his new mood accompanies him everywhere and has become a valuable travel companion. On the other hand, the wooden addon can be carried for any occasion. Many people he meets and who are not familiar with the unique concept of mood and its versatility are intrigued by the ever changing facets that this ring can adopt thus reflecting the state of mind, the desires and personality of its owner.
